About us

All Media Council Foundation

Freedom of expression is a fundamental pillar of democracy, enabling individuals to voice their opinions and uphold justice. Recognizing the need to safeguard media professionals’ rights and honor the relentless efforts of social workers, Mr. Gyanendra Vishwakarma founded All Media Council (AMC) on March 5, 2015, in Ahmedabad. As a non-profit organization, AMC is dedicated to strengthening journalistic values, advocating for ethical reporting, and ensuring fair treatment of media personnel. Over the years, it has emerged as a vital platform for addressing the challenges faced by journalists and social workers in India.

For the past decade, AMC has actively worked on crucial issues affecting media professionals. It has been vocal about the need for a Journalist Welfare Board, ensuring fair remuneration, securing health and accident insurance, and establishing justice boards for journalists facing legal or professional hardships. By championing these causes, AMC aims to create a safer and more supportive environment for media workers, enabling them to perform their duties without fear or financial insecurity.

Beyond journalism, AMC also collaborates with social workers to highlight societal concerns, promote ethical storytelling, and amplify voices that drive positive change. Through its unwavering commitment to press freedom and social advocacy, AMC continues to empower individuals dedicated to truth, justice, and public welfare.
